GasNet, a utility managing natural gas networks and meters in the Wanganui – Manawatu region of New Zealand, engaged KernMobile to enhance existing systems and allow field staff to receive jobs while in the field.
Following the roll-out of its Geographic Information System
(GIS) in 2007, GasNet went to the market to find an electronic

In 2010, GasNet selected KernMobile as its mobile works
management solutions that would meet the scale and extent of their
operations. What particularly appealed to GasNet about KernMobile
was the simplicity of use combined with extensive flexibility and
functionality. Equally attractive was the ease with which Kern
could customise the system to meet GasNet's specific needs.
