Newcastle City Council goes KernMobile

Newcastle is Australia’s 7th largest city and is located 160 kilometers north of Sydney. NCC engaged KernMobile to provide a solution that will allow the capture of field data for Parks and Footpath inspections.

The KernMobile solution will allow NCC to acquire a clearer and complete picture of all their parks assets and will provide a mechanism to make all captured information accessible to all NCC key stakeholders and decision makers.  The KernMobile solution is going to be implemented alongside Hansen 8 as part of the Newcastle City Council (NCC)  Corporate Asset Management Project.

The simplicity and flexibility of the KernMobile solution is what particularly appealed to NCC. Having data capture structures already in place, NCC needed a solution that can be configured to adhere to their unique business requirements.  Kern's ability to integrate with their existing systems was of equal importance for NCC.
