Hardware Devices
The KernMobile software can be installed in a wide
range of field devices such as Pocket PC devices (including smart
phones) or larger format devices such as Laptops and Tablets.
The selected field devices vary based on the clients'
preferences and the nature of the data that are captured through
the KernMobile system. Smart phones can be quite effective when the
electronic job forms are simple and short. However, a large screen
of a tablet device will be preferred when the data capture
requirements are quite extensive.
KernMobile can provide expert advice and recommendations for
appropriate devices based on each client's unique data
requirements, but the final choice depends on the client. The Kern
system works perfectly fine regardless of the field device
selected.
